About Me
I combine my graduate education in psychology, my decades of experience as successful business owner, years of being a psychology professional and my roots as a small town farmhand/ranch hand in the midwest of the U.S. and created "Coaching Mavericks". We all have a unique combination of God given natural gifts, talents, skills, and abilities that when put together create our uniqueness, and reveal how we can be our authentic self, best lead others, discover our purpose and allow us to live at our best, fulfilled and successful life.
Let's talk about how we can work together to help you find your purpose, reach your goals, and achieve greater success.

VerifiedI appreciated that Jay responded quickly and engaged in a personal welcome and was able to schedule our first call right away. He took the time to really read my inquiry responses and hear what I wanted to develop. I felt a dynamic enthusiasm right away for the process ahead and look forward to our discussions!!

I am very impressed with Jay Izso. I recently appeared on his "A New Direction" Podcast. I have been on about 40 podcasts over the last 2 years. I have to say that Jay is one of the most prepared and energetic podcasters I have had the pleasure to meet. As a bonus, Jay also provided personal coaching to me when the podcast was over. I really appreciated Jay's counsel. I highly recommend Jay to sponsors who are looking for a good podcast to associate with. I recommend anyone with a message that you would like to get out there, to contact Jay about being on his podcast. Jay did a great job promoting my book, "Iron-Sharpened Leadership" because he actually read my book prior to the podcast, and my message in the book resonated with him. Jay takes pride in ensuring he reads the books of any author appearing on his podcast. Based on my experience, that is somewhat rare. Although I am an executive coach myself, I would also recommend Jay to anyone looking for a superb coach. Jay is the real deal. So glad I met Jay and I will keep him as a trusted advisor within my network.

I found myself at a time in my life when I needed direction, guidance, and balance in both my personal and professional life. When I was presented with the opportunity to have Jay as a coach, I jumped at the chance! Jay is extremely personable, insightful, supportive, and inspiring. He has provided exceptional value in his ability to restore my self-confidence, improve my perspective, and teach me more about myself than I have ever known before. I look forward to our conversations every week; I am always excited about what knowledge I will gain and how I can apply it to my daily life. I could not be more grateful to have Jay as a coach and also as a friend.
