About Me

I am a seasoned non-profit executive with more than 25 years experience in operational and HR leadership, overseeing HR, finance, and IT managers to help them grow and advance professionally, while also strengthening their relationships with other managers. My sweet spot is in helping to grow start-ups, as well as strengthening the operational functions at established organizations. I spent many years as a CHRO; thus I can also advise on thorny HR issues. Note that I am a straight talker. I "tell it like it is" - and am not about coddling; I'm here to help you move forward and/or deal with really thorny issues (many of which are probably relationship and HR issues -- and those are where I have the strongest experience). I will ask you questions about what you're dealing with - and I may suggest steps that move you out of your comfort zone - but I will hold you accountable and help you strengthen your leadership presence. I’ve made mistakes, learned from them, and have helped my managers also own their mistakes and learn/grow from them.
