"I knew my business wasn't at its full potential" “I wasn't sure what to do to take it to the next step. I contacted Jim. We had a initial meeting that laid out a path of several issues to resolve, some I knew, and others I was not even aware of. Jim helped me help myself, the old teach a man to fish thing. Jim gave me valuable tools to help resolve staff & general issues, gave me more confidence, and improved my bottom line. The plan was not to do more but to be more profitable at what I am doing. How much? Well we all know the current economy is up the creek, but working with Jim I have realised a bottom line increase of $23000 compared to this same time period - from the same amount of customers. Concentrating on making our business more Dollars per hour from our existing customer base has allowed me to cut back hours and have more time for ourselves. "A cohesive team"   Thank you Jim for your quality coaching, and for showing  us how to approach our problems in a different way. Although we had a very good and systemized business we found that the communication between our three managers was not effective, and rather than working as one business we had three people doing their own thing. The DISC profiles to give the team an understanding of themselves and each other. The result is a cohesive team that is more accepting. They now understand their own limitations and they understand and respect each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Every section is still its own store, but all managers are on same page, making communication to floor staff much easier and consistent. Having a better management system, it’s easier to bring floor staff along with what is required. Any question in the workshop can now be answered by a number of people to give a consistent result. My name is Jonathan Beattie of Bendigo In Phase Electrical. We specialise in commercial, domestic and industrial electrical work. I am proud to say that I have been using Jim Boyers coaching service for eight months now and the results speak for themselves. In April I had one employee and I was working 100-120 hrs/week out of my shed at home. Now in December I am putting on my ninth full time employee, have a workshop and office in town and work 40-50 hrs/week.
