About Me

I’m Johanna Kasperski, PhD, LCPC, a Life & Relationship Coach, Illinois Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, expert trauma therapist, and founder of White Orchid Counseling Services. I hold a master’s degree in counseling and a PhD in Natural Health.

Throughout my counseling career, I have helped adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My experience also includes supporting women navigating fertility treatment, postpartum changes, and shifts in identity. This work has deepened my understanding of how our experiences influence confidence, self-trust, communication, and the choices we make.

My professional training includes EMDR, somatic approaches, and Gottman-informed relationship work. My PhD in Natural Health adds a perspective on well-being that considers daily habits, stress, and the connection between mind and body. These experiences inform my understanding of people; clinical treatment methods remain part of my therapy work, separate from coaching.

In coaching, I help adults clarify what they want, strengthen boundaries, build confidence, and take practical steps toward their goals. You may be navigating a breakup or divorce, questioning a relationship pattern, struggling with people-pleasing, or wondering what your next chapter could look like.

My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. Together, we will explore your priorities, recognize your strengths, and create realistic action steps that fit your life. You do not need every answer before beginning—just a willingness to explore what matters to you.

Coaching is a goal-oriented personal-development service. It does not include diagnosis, psychotherapy, or treatment of mental-health conditions. If your needs would be better served by therapy or another resource, we will discuss that openly.
