About Me

My name is Joey Spangler, and I’m a Strategic Intervention Coach with nearly 15 years of experience helping people create lives of deeper purpose, stronger relationships, and authentic connection. I specialize in working with individuals who are navigating transition, inner confusion, relationship challenges, and spiritual or emotional turning points—what some might call a “dark night of the soul”.

I’ve supported adults, teens, couples, and parents in rediscovering their strength, values, and clarity, even amidst life’s most difficult and disorienting seasons.

I believe that your challenges are not evidence of deficiency—they are invitations to become more fully yourself.

I walk with people into the messy, beautiful, and often painful work of change, healing, and clarity and create a grounded space for you to explore what really matters—and then help you move forward with strength and purpose.

My approach blends practical strategies with deep compassion. To me, coaching is not about giving advice—it’s about helping you reconnect with your own wisdom, power, and direction. My goal is to help you take action from a place of truth, not fear.

In addition to my formal training in coaching through the methods developed by Tony Robbins and Chloe Madanes, along with my training and experience in social work, I’ve drawn heavily from the wisdom of Tara Brach, Carl Jung, Richard Rohr and many others.

I also bring lived experience. I know what it’s like to feel lost in doubt, to wrestle with questions that don’t have easy answers and to want more from life than you’ve been taught to expect. I’ve used both my training and my personal journey to become someone who can hold space for others—without judgment, without pretense, and with a deep belief in what’s possible for you.
