About Me

I worked with children in an alternative learning environment for seventeen years, completed a master's degree in counseling, and decided to become a family coach to focus on my passion: supporting parents to be more conscious about their parenting style and aware of ways they can change it to become more compatible with their kid's needs.

I developed a curriculum to guide clients through a process of learning about themselves, exploring information about child development and the brain, and developing skills most applicable to their family situation. The journey is empowering and inspiring and results in improved relationships and better communication.

I live in Philadelphia with my husband and four cats, enjoy gardening, and taking walks in the woods. I also find art to be a rewarding and creative way to express myself and sometimes incorporate that into sessions with clients. I have a grown child, who I raised as a single, homeschooling mother and who taught me about compassion, patience, and joy.
