About Me

Like many people, I found myself at a pivotal point in the aftermath of the economic downturn of 2008. I was a mid-career marketing professional and many firms similar to mine were downsizing. Anxiously, I clung on to the hope that I would keep my job. But it was just a matter of time, until I was let go. I quickly landed another job, but while I was sending out resumes and going on interviews, I was also imagining a career change. I worried about the financial and mental costs of starting over. But the worry became excitement when I thought about the costs of staying on my current path. Now, I love being a coach, and my journey is itself is a part of what makes me a successful coach.

Coaching is not a “one-size-fits-all” formula. What makes me an effective coach is that I customize my approach to your unique lifestyle and distinctive goals. I form an alliance with you and work collaboratively in a thought-provoking and creative process.

It starts with listening. I listen closely and ask questions to clarify and deepen my understanding of your needs. I helping you identify and assess the traits, strengths, skills, experiences, values, and resources you already have and the additional ones you will need to cultivate to reach your goal. Together we explore barriers to success, such assumptions, negative beliefs, thought habits, and self-criticisms, and then reframe them to clear the pathway to success. We brainstorm, set priorities, and create action plans. I help you track your progress and I help keep you on track. I celebrate your milestones and cheer you on!
