About Me

A huge percentage of who we are, where we've been and where we are going is based on our belief system. Using the rational emotive behavioural therapy model, I help clients to reframe false and destructive narratives that perpetuate unhealthy behavioural patterns. We work together to replace false and unhealthy beliefs with perspectives that better serve the wellbeing and goals of the client, to produce a more fulfilling life experience. Too often, we set ourselves up by the stories we tell ourselves about the people around us, situations, habits, experiences and about ourselves. Changing the way we perceive experiences ultimately changes the way we live and grow until we become better versions of ourselves.

In addition, I utilise my Masters in Advanced Teaching to help educators work through challenges that may be affecting their work-life-balance and mental wellbeing. Among educators, concerns such as working with learner diversity and supporting inclusive classrooms can create its own distress. I help educators with lesson planning and curriculum development to support the various needs of their students without becoming burnt out. Sometimes a fresh perspective classroom situations is worthwhile from someone who is not as emotionally invested as you are because this allows for more objectivity.

For young and newly baptized Christians, transitioning into your new life is a major event. I help support and guide young believers to help them live in alignment with God's word. My approach involves a combination of psychological principles, life coaching tools and Christain theology. Understanding ourselves as triune beings helps young Christians to achieve life balance and cater to the needs of their whole being.
