About Me

Kristy brings 15 years of higher education leadership experience, along with a passion for supporting college students and recent graduates during the transition to life after college. She served for 9 years in alumni relations at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) as the Director of Student & Recent Grad Outreach and Engagement, running a team of staff and volunteers in student leadership development and alumni relations programming. She then led the alumni relations department for The Buckley School, an independent K-12 in Sherman Oaks, for 3 years. Her areas of expertise include leadership training, interviewing, networking, internship & volunteerism selection, life after college transition support and public speaking.

Kristy earned her B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and her Masters in Education - Student Affairs from UCLA. She is currently completing her Independent Education Consultant Certificate from UC Irvine and holds professional memberships in the Council of Advancement in Support of Education (CASE), NASPA-Student Affairs Professionals in Higher Education and the Independent Education Consultant Association (IECA).

Kristy is an avid traveler, movie and book lover, and Vespa rider.
