About Me
I am a conflict coach. I help people navigate inner and outer conflict. You might be surprised at their similarities.
Because they're inevitable, people are often enmeshed in both.
Conflict with your partner, your children, friends or in-laws. Imagined or real tension with your boss.
Or voices in your head. Criticizing you. Conflicting pulls that leave you stuck, indecisive or unmotivated.
I coach individuals, couples, parents and teens - anyone who knows that their life and/or relationships are not as joyful as they could be.
Imagine stepping off the path of stress, second-guessing yourself and painful emotions. Imagine being free of old baggage and toxic relationships.
M. Scott Peck said: “Our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled ...propelled by our discomfort, we are likely to step out of our ruts and search for different ways or truer answers.”
I have Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Oxford, a postgraduate diploma from King’s College, London, and a Masters degree from the University of South Australia. I am experienced in family, workplace and community mediation, restorative justice and inner family systems. I am seeking certification through Mediators Without Borders.
If you long to be authentic, inspired and joyful, however others behave, please get in touch.

Recently, I was struggling with my career. I was unhappy and experiencing some anxiety. I wasn't really sure if I needed to change companies or change careers all together, but I was sure that I needed a change. Lizbeth helped me to look at the source of these feelings. Through our conversations, I was able to explore different scenarios and paths that could change my outlook. In the end I have a better understanding of my motivations, my passions, and I have an action plan for next steps in my career path.

I asked Lizbeth for coaching because she was outside my social and professional circles. I didn't realize until later how unique her perspective was. She has really lived! And those diverse experiences have shaped her into an amazing, compassionate listener. When I first saw her, I was full of blame and anger. Then she would ask a simple question that brought me to tears. She helped me to take responsibility for my mistakes, and live in a way that people responded well to. I am so much happier in my significant relationships and in my life generally. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I became Lizbeth's coaching client kind of by mistake. I needed help with my academic writing, so I saw her as my writing tutor. As a teacher, she was great. But in our general conversations, I saw that she had so much more to offer in my personal and professional life. She listened to me in a way that no one had before. Writing wasn't just about grammar. She asked me questions about my expression and my general work ethic that got to the heart of issues that I had suppressed for years. She never judged me even though at first I was embarrassed to say my deepest thoughts out loud. I had been unfulfilled in my relationships with my family for years. I had been scared to admit it to myself. She helped me find answers within myself. I am just so glad that I met her and didn't stay stuck. Since then I have made choices in my relationships and at work that have been so healthy and life-transforming.
