Dr. Marisol Capellan is a full-time management faculty, Associate Director of the Masters in Leadership program for Miami Herbert Business School, a Certified Executive Coach, a leadership and mindset corporate trainer, and a professional public speaker. As a university faculty, she teaches management, organizational behavior for undergraduate students, and team building for the graduate Executive Global MBA program.
Dr. Capellan has a doctorate in higher education leadership and administration from the University of Miami, and her research focus is on women’s career advancement and trajectory to leadership positions. Dr. Marisol Capellan graduated magna cum laude with a Master's in Leadership from Miami Herbert Business School.
As a leadership, mindset, and emotional intelligence trainer, Dr. Capellan has delivered workshops for US-based organizations such as American Tower Corporation, NBC Universal, Year Up, and the National Black MBA Association. She has also served as a guest lecturer and trainer for international universities such as Universidad Andres Bello in Chile, Universida Iberoamericana UNIBE in Dominican Republic, Universidad Colegio Mayor de Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Colombia and others. Additionally, as a certified executive coach, she has coached executives from Salesforce, Google, WarnerMedia, Blackrock, The Lending Club Corporation, Anheuser-Busch InBev, and more.
Dr. Capellan has also originated, administered, and expanded faculty development and leadership programs to enhance women and minority research and grant opportunities at the University of Miami under the Office of Faculty Affairs for the University of Miami Executive Vice President and Provost. These programs focused on leadership, diversity, inclusion, mentorship, career development, and women and minority faculty empowerment across all University of Miami campuses.
