A lot has been said about engagement. From a neurological perspective, it is the activation of the brain's reward and self-regulation system. But why would that matter?
When the brain is engaged, dopamine gets released and marvelous things happen: better executive attention, clear thinking, complex problem solving, creativity, habits formation, learning, positive emotions, self-regulation, and social collaboration.
As a bilingual (French and English) performance and leadership coach, I work with motivated individuals who want to improve their effectiveness at leading their team, handling difficult conversations and managing their priorities with confidence.
Drawing upon my academic background in industrial and organizational psychology, experience in career design thinking, leadership development and change management, I have a unique appreciation of the human brain and its power to influence our mindset and behaviors, be it in helpful and unhelpful ways. I apply insights from neuroscience, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral psychology to guide one-on-one interactions to support your development plan and help you find ways to keep your brain engaged toward reaching your goals.
I am a certified evidence-based coach from Fielding Graduate University and I also hold a MSc in applied psychology from Saint Mary's University.
In addition to working as a coach, I also work as a human performance consultant for a small boutique firm focused on working with organizations to develop operational practices and strategically align their cultures in order to reignite the innate desires of employees to do what is best for the team – and for the customer. I am responsible for leading, managing and delivering client engagements centered around the development of their organizational and leadership culture.
