About Me
Want to change something? Want a new career or better relationships…more self-confidence…and to feel less fearful?
Then I’m your coach! I’ll work with you to gain the power to make the changes you desire by building on your unique, authentic abilities and strengths.
My interactive “Inner Vision” strategies help my clients trust in their abilities to solve problems and take action. I use role play and other interactive techniques to discover and define clear objectives. By improving mind/body/spirit connections my clients report feeling more peaceful, more appreciation for self and others, more self confidence…and less worries!
My professional background and experience includes counseling, teaching health, hospital and clinic nursing, academic and career advising, hypnosis, couple’s meditation, hospice, and interdenominational ministerial care.
I teach/taught college courses in life coaching and conflict mediation. I am a consultant for a program for Veterans with the AARP.
I have earned advanced college degrees, I am a visual artist, and have written three novels as well as a self-help guide for ending guilt and shame entitled “Tell the Devil to Go to Hell.” I am a teacher of “A Course in Miracles” and believe they happen all the time!
I strive to provide affordable, compassionate, respectful, values-based, confidential coaching services to people of all ages, genders and beliefs to identify and develop strengths and skills. I specialize in motivation, overcoming creative blocks, insight-based problem solving, interpersonal communication, conflict resolution, and stress management.
My $45 fee can be adjusted on a sliding scale basis to accommodate special needs. My sessions are conducted by phone, FaceTime, email, Skype and/or Zoom. Live sessions and public/group presentations and workshops are also possible. The first session is free. A thought to consider: “Fear is temporary…regret is forever.” Call me anytime to arrange a no-cost get-acquainted chat. Mary Ray
Reviews
I met Mary as the Instructor of Life Coaching Course at Great Basin College. I loved her energy and insight, so much that I took the Advanced Life Coaching Course. I continued to work with Mary as my own Coach, as I started my own business, and continued on my journey forward. I use the tools that Mary introduced me to, almost daily, and its been close to 7 years since we met. My work (with Mary) included professional, and person relationship goals and issues, and I am grateful that I found her, I have had nothing but an honest, encouraging, and nurturing experience with Mary.
