I work with people who care deeply about their work and lives. People who know that they can be more, achieve more, and create more in their lives. People with big shiny goals and visions, who need some support to help them get there. My clients are highly capable, resilient humans who come to me for support to help them overcome the feeling of being overwhelmed or alone through their journey to change.
I help my clients connect to themselves in a deeper way, to slow down and find their inner source to see new options, make empowered choices, drive action, and live with more intention and ease.
I use a client-centered and dynamic approach to work collaboratively with clients to help them move forward with intention and bold action. I bring a wealth of tools and techniques to help clients navigate change, challenge and uncertainty. My clients often tell me they feel 'ready to tackle anything' after our sessions. I use an empowering approach, equipping clients to support themselves with coaching strategies between sessions.
My journey into coaching began during my time working in the nonprofit sector as the manager of a fast-paced, rapidly-expanding crisis service. As a young manager lacking mentorship, I turned to coaching where I quickly found strategies and techniques to empower my team with a coach-like approach. I have applied my passion for empowering others to my consulting work in Tech, Education, Health Care and corporate environments.
I bring expertise in change theory, mindfulness, systems theory and leadership principles to my coaching practice. I respect that clients hold the wisdom they need to navigate their challenges, and as your coach I will walk alongside you as a strong ally and advocate for your transformation.
I hold a Certificate in Organizational Coaching from the University of British Columbia, and the ACC Credential with the International Coaching Federation.

I was surprised at how easy it was to talk to Maureen during our first session. She says she coaches to be a thought partner and advocate and wow does she deliver. She's incredibly encouraging and facilitates fluid conversation while making you feel heard and understood. At the end of a session I feel motivated to tackle anything.Kayla
I really value Maux's ability to bring perspective, insights, and playfulness to our conversations. Her capacity to be supportive but also challenging has made a significant impact on my goals - not only am I reaching them, but I am getting there faster, thanks to her. She brings so much experience into her work and has a deep understanding of people - I would absolutely recommend working with Maux as you navigate work/life/change.Anne Walker
Maureen's warm presence, playfulness, and care created a courageous space for my exploration. As I navigate change, she made me feel felt, seen, and supported. Our partnership has allowed me to examine my story, rewrite my narrative, and take action towards my intentional success. I'd highly recommend her to those who are seeking to make empowered choices while navigating uncertainty!Deb Chen
Maux has been a great ally during this stage in my life helping me handle personal challenges as well as being my accountability partner in achieving career goals; with the tools she provided me with i can navigate situations that in the past would have brought up anxiety. She creates a container that is warm, friendly and safe judgement free for introspection and healing. I am forever grateful for the space she holds for me.Linda R.
I came to coaching to get support while "pivoting" my business online to adjust to the post-2020 landscape. I was feeling stuck and overwhelmed by the work required to launch a new business model, and frustrated by my lack of forward progress. Maux helped me break down the tasks into manageable chunks, and evaluate the best places to invest my energy. Most importantly, she helped me shift my mindset out of feeling "stuck," and into a new space of inspiration and momentum. After just a few months of coaching, I improved my time-management and created strong forward momentum on my new business ideas. I am also more relaxed and empowered now about my career, overall. I really enjoyed the gentleness and playfulness of Maux's coaching style. She is smart, organized and firm, but she always managed to deliver her insights with genuine warmth and tenderness. One of my favorite things was how I felt she really cared and was interested in all the minute details of my business and life goals. It was such a game-changer to have her helping me "hold" all the to-do lists, tasks and goals that were taking up my mental space. I also liked the powerful visualization exercises Maux guided me through during several of our sessions. In these meditations, I was able to connect to some visual archetypes and symbols that continue to be useful to me as I navigate entrepreneurship in the modern age. I felt really safe and comfortable exploring these visualizations with her, and gained valuable insights about myself from the experience. It was great to have a coach who could combine practical business sense with more holistic techniques (such as mantra and visualization). I would strongly recommend Maux as a coach for other female entrepreneurs who are pursuing their big dreams while trying to maintain a balanced lifestyle. She gives great business advice, and will skillfully reflect back to you what's working or not working. She listens with compassion and gives just the right amount of thoughtful feedback. She also taught me how to celebrate my wins more- which I'm sure is something we all need! Thanks so much Maux- I'll definitely be back if I ever get stuck again.Gabrielle Abbott
