Megan Parker San Mateo, California
Career Coach, Leadership Coach, Life Coach
BComm, Leadership Coaching certification (CoachRICE/Doerr Institute at Rice University) and EQi 2.0/ EQ360 certification
As a former National Team athlete, I dedicated 17 years to the sport of springboard & platform diving, leaving me with a deep understanding of the highs and lows of competitive sport. After retiring, I transitioned into a business career in digital marketing and continued to give back to sport while raising two children. Through coaching and mentoring athletes as well as working with my own life coach, I saw the need to help others who struggled with confidence, setting goals, managing priorities, team dynamics, and career transition. This inspired me to complete my formal leadership coach training.
My style of coaching is warm, down-to-earth, collaborative, insightful, supportive, and solutions-focused. With more than 40 combined years as an athlete, coach, business woman, and seeker of personal growth, my passion is working with motivated individuals seeking a purpose-driven & joy-filled life. Specifically, these individuals are looking to improve their performance (personal or business related), overcome an obstacle, manage a career transition, or gain clarity around an issue they are facing.
I have a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of British Columbia and completed my formal Leadership coach training with CoachRICE at the Doer Institute for New Leaders at Rice University. I am a certified EQ-i 2.0/EQ 360 Emotional Intelligence coach and a Member of the ICF.
When I’m not coaching, I spend my spare time practicing yoga, playing pickleball, and hiking around the Bay Area with my silver lab Piper.

Megan was easy to connect with right away. She understood the challenges I was facing and inspired me to come up with several tools and practices that I have built into my daily routine which I have found to be really helpful. I saw immediate progress in just a few sessions and would recommend her to all athletes who are learning how to perform under pressure and want to find gratitude and joy while simultaneously managing stress from school and sports.Chris, High School Athlete
I’ve known Megan for almost a decade and reached out to her when my daughter was struggling with a mental block at practice. As a mom and a former world-class athlete, Megan truly understands the pressure being put on teenage athletes today who not only participate in highly competitive sports, but are expected to excel academically with rigorous school course loads. Her sessions with my daughter were all 100% confidential and my daughter really trusted Megan throughout the process. Megan helped my daughter work through the mental block that was holding her back at practice and helped her focus on balancing her priorities for sports and school. My daughter was able to push through the block and overcome the pressure of competing at a national level while simultaneously wrapping up finals and AP exams for school. She ultimately had a great competition season and performed outstandingly well on her finals and AP exams. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire Megan again to help my kids through any sports/school related challenges they are having.Laura, mom of recruited D1 athlete
