About Me

Dr. Melissa Smith, is a Certified Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, and Mental Health Professional for all ages, with over 16 years of experience in mental health, substance abuse, and human services. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, two Master's degrees in Social and Community Services and Psychology, respectively, and a Ph.D. in Human and Social Services. Dr. Smith has also completed coursework for a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. She has obtained a certification as a Nurturing Parenting Program Facilitator.

Apart from her professional work, Dr. Smith is an active volunteer in the community, advocating for various causes and encouraging the participation of youth, families, and all members of society. Having faced many challenges in life, she believes her experiences have taught her to trust in people's ability to find balance and overcome tough times. With humor, respect, creative thinking, and a love for helping others, Dr. Smith inspires those around her to reach their full potential and live a fulfilling life.
