About Me
My background as a health coach, entrepreneur and former corporate executive allows me to partner with you on a coaching journey with my whole being.
I'VE BEEN THROUGH A LOT
Career:
I worked overseas in the U.S. right after my MBA there, and in Germany where I was soon promoted to Business Unit Head of Strategy, directly reporting to the BU global CEO. In both cases, I excelled in a foreign working environment and was highly recognized by colleagues and supervisors.
Finance:
I experienced financial challenges with my business, and eventually things turned around. My takeaway is that other than business savviness, the inner work is a crucial factor.
Life:
As a health coach, I am near the end of a personal transition triggered by physical health crisis. In the process I learned so much about myself and got profound insights on how to feed the soul, and the body.
MY COACHING STYLE
My coaching style is being a "proactive 'equal partner' ". I respect client's boundary and do not give unsolicited advice. However, if I see a blind spot that client may be missing, I will ask for their permission to bring it to their attention.
I keep an eye for my clients as an objective third-party that cares about their best interests.
Sharp insight is another gift of mine. Clients say I tell them things about themselves that no one else has said before.
ABOUT ME
I am currently based in Beijing, in my mid-40s and work as a full-time coach. I lived in the U.S. and Germany for nearly 10 years and consider myself a global citizen. Before setting up my own wellbeing practice, I worked at Fortune 500 companies for 15 years mainly in strategy/analytical positions.
Before Covid, I was an avid Argentine Tango dancer for 10+ years and travelled around Europe for tango festivals while living there. I am also a pretty good (home) cook and taught cooking classes.
- MBA, University of Michigan
- Coaching since 2017
- German Chancellor Fellow
- Wellness entrepreneur

This is the first time for me to have a 20-minute coaching with Meng. Although time was short, I benefited a lot and was amazed by the experience. 20 minutes are highly condensed. These were precious 20 minutes for me to integrate the mind and body and to be with the body! Comparing to therapies that are 1 hour long and last for months or years, health coaching compacts more experience in one session and focuses on the body, which is ignored by most people but is very important. Health coaching brings different, complementary perspectives and food for thought, therefore helps one know themselves in a holistic way. I highly recommend it!

I used to go to therapist when stressed out by work. In the process of health coaching, it was more like a partnership. We set quite clear goals. The Coach kept helping me explore my inner needs and complemented possibilities to the discussion. She assisted me to think proactively instead of turning to the Coach for a solution. “Teach someone to fish is better than giving them a fish.” During coaching I did not fall into the blackhole of my emotions or into my problems. Rather I was full of curiosity about myself during the exploration and broke the boundaries of my old, fixated thinking. This feels like finding the solution in an alternative way. As Coachee I felt very free, supported, cared and without constraint. The pleasant feeling made me physically relaxed and comfortable from inside out.

My experience of health coaching is compassionate presence. Meng listened patiently and asked wise questions. Under her guidance, the space between us was lightened up with love and wisdom. Solutions arose from within me. The process was full of life force. Meanwhile, I identified my old habits of giving advice or having judgements. Such a way may seem efficient but in fact, one can only arrive at where she truly wants to be through her own efforts.

I find Meng’s health coaching very helpful. As an internal Executive Coach at world’s largest pharmaceutical company, I had always thought I knew about my wellbeing. However, the coaching process with Meng refreshed my perception and broke through many of my blind spots. My biggest takeaway was that Meng skillfully introduced the holistic wellness concept of mind-body-spirit and approached it in a way that client can resonate with most. Meng also grasped the details of my words and asked thought-provoking questions about the bigger picture. Through this process, I had an experiential realization what my blind spots were. As follow-up, I made a more comprehensive holistic health plan and adjusted my mental and emotional wellbeing accordingly. I benefited a lot in the process and sincerely hope more people can benefit from Meng’s offering.

I have participated in Meng’s Inner Journey Program two times and enjoy the communication with her. It is very rare to have someone fully listen to me and give their full attention for one hour as in the 1v1 coaching. - Meng would guide me to detach from “stuff that I am stuck with”. Her questions and reflections enabled me to be aware of the behavioral and thinking patterns that I had not noticed before and thus see the possibility to break through them. - The key words and key ideas that we summarized often kept floating in my consciousness in the 1-2 weeks following a session. This provokes further contemplation and awareness in my daily life. - Every time towards the ending, Meng and I came up a few things for me to put into action by the next session. This gives me more momentum for implementation. When I follow these steps, they indeed make a difference in my life.

I am very grateful to have met Meng and had the opportunity to experience her life coaching. Meng was attentive and gentle while listening and she was very objective when giving feedbacks. Sometimes she asked me questions. By answering them I found the solutions myself and identified the thinking pattern in my subconscious. Meng also brought certain details in my daily life to my attention, which may have contributed to my emotional ups and downs. I appreciate her style of not drawing conclusion, but instead bringing up the possibilities. It was not like a diagnosis, but rather a friend listening. Inspired by the talk with her, I found it easier to step out of my pattern and try out new possibilities.
