For over 15 years, I was the one people turned to for solutions. As a social worker and case manager, I honed my skills in expertly mediating complex disputes, fostering collaboration, and finding equitable outcomes for families in crisis. I became an expert at ensuring the welfare of others, but I also learned firsthand the heavy toll that emotional labor and constant problem-solving can take. I understand what it feels like to pour so much of yourself into your work that you feel depleted and on the brink of burnout.
My journey to becoming a Certified Life and Support Coach began when I realized I needed to apply my analytical and problem-solving skills to my own life. I discovered how to "stack" the healthy habits I already had to create a solid, sustainable self-care routine. It was a profound, life-changing process that has allowed me to maintain a healthy mind and body, even in high-stress environments.
