About Me

Najmah Ahmad serves as the Founder & CEO of The Chisholm Group LLC, where she leads with a vision of equity, healing, and empowerment for communities too often left out of opportunity. With over 17 years of experience in education and youth development, her career spans higher education, nonprofit leadership, and K–12 school districts. This range of experience gives Najmah a deep understanding of how systems can both create barriers and open doors — and she has dedicated her work to ensuring more young people, women of color, and entrepreneurs are able to thrive.

Najmah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Gender & Diversity Studies from Xavier University, where she built a foundation in understanding identity, equity, and social change. She later received her Master’s degree in College Student Affairs from Nova Southeastern University, equipping her to design and lead programs that support the growth and success of diverse learners and communities.

Her professional and entrepreneurial work has always been rooted in creating spaces where women of color, particularly Black women, can access both opportunity and healing. Through her platform The Freed Black Girl, Najmah curates conversations, meditations, and community offerings that center liberation, embodiment, and wholeness for Black women. The platform uplifts stories of resilience and joy while serving as a resource hub for collective healing and empowerment.

In addition to her coaching and consulting practice, Najmah leads Unbought & Unbossed Academy, a business incubator and healing space that helps Black women entrepreneurs strengthen their ventures while tending to their wellness and leadership. Her blended approach integrates business development, financial wellness, and somatic practices, ensuring that women are not only building sustainable enterprises but also caring for themselves in the process.
