About Me

Hello, I'm Natasha H. Benenson, the founder of The NeuroAffirming Coach, and my mission is deeply personal: to empower young neurodivergent adults to confidently own their transition into independence. I focus on individuals typically between the ages of 18 and 25 who are moving from the highly structured world of school into the sometimes overwhelming chaos of adult life.
My clients are bright, high-potential people, often those with ADHD or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) who excelled when external structure was in place, but now feel completely stuck. They are recent graduates, struggling college students, or young professionals paralyzed by challenges in Executive Function (EF): things like starting tasks, managing their time reliably, and organizing their lives. They aren't lazy; they're experiencing overwhelm and shame because the standard, neurotypical advice just doesn't work for their brain.
As a NeuroAffirming Coach, I reject the idea that your brain needs to be "fixed." Instead, I focus on understanding your unique cognitive patterns to leverage your natural strengths. I partner with you to co-create bespoke, brain-aligned systems and scaffolding that actually work for you.
I equip you with essential skills for adult life: effective emotional regulation, clear self-advocacy (so you can communicate your needs to bosses and roommates), and reliable task management. My goal is simple: to help you close the gap between your incredible potential and your daily execution. I guide the "Neurodivergent Transitioner" from feeling stuck and dependent to becoming a self-regulated, confident, and thriving adult who is fully in control of their future.
