Hi. My name’s Nick. I’d like to help you become a software developer.

In my 10-plus years as a software developer, I’ve tutored, mentored, led, and managed dozens of developers to better careers. I’ve seen a lot of missteps that resulted in a lot of pain and suffering for would-be software developers.

With so much information to absorb, it’s very difficult for someone new to the technology industry to know where to start or what’s essential to their specific goals.

It doesn’t help that many developer groups and online forums are downright hostile to new developers. Even when helpful developers are around, you often either get half-answers that don’t help you understand or developers go off in a mile-long technical rant that you’d never be able to understand.
