About Me

I'm Olga Brouwer, an ICF-certified, ACC-Accredited leadership coach who brings the wisdom that comes from truly "being there." My journey from a small Dutch town to the volcanic Azores—with meaningful chapters co-owning a South Dakota dairy farm and leading agricultural/ rural leadership programs—has taught me that our greatest growth often emerges from life's most challenging transitions.
I've navigated moving abroad multiple times, weathered financial storms, experienced divorce, raised children, and built businesses from scratch. These experiences haven't just shaped me—they've given me deep empathy for the courage it takes to rebuild, pivot, and create a life aligned with your values.
My coaching approach is warm, curious, and calm. I believe you already have the answers; my role is creating space where your insights can emerge. As former Executive Director of the Minnesota Agriculture and Rural Leadership program, I guided over 100 leaders through transformation. I understand both the pressures of leadership and the vulnerability of growth.
Beyond traditional coaching, I incorporate Neurographica—expressive art that unlocks new perspectives through drawing. Sometimes breakthrough requires a different pathway than words alone.
I work best with people ready to embrace change: those navigating major transitions, rebuilding after setbacks, stepping into leadership, or aligning life with deeper purpose. My Strategic, Learner, and WOO strengths help you see possibilities while my lived experience ensures genuine understanding.
When not coaching, you'll find me exploring Santa Maria's trails with my Dalmatian, volunteering with ICF Portugal, or hosting international travelers through our WorkAway project.
