About Me

I'm Phoebe and I'm an ICF certified coach.
I specialise in working with young people aged 16-25 where I have over 200 hours of coaching experience.
From the ages of 16-25 young people must make huge decisions about their future. They face multiple periods of transition and change, from school to college/university, and then into work. Young people are often left to manage these decisions and periods of change largely on their own. This can lead to feelings of overwhelm, demotivation and high levels of stress.
My coaching practice allows young people to map out their future and work through these decisions and changes with guided and facilitated support. I ensure my coachees are empowered to make decisions they feel confident about and move toward a future that excites them.
I take a positive, goal centred approach to coaching. This means that I start with young people’s strengths and skills and help them connect with their personal drivers and motivations.
My goal centred approach places a large emphasis on young people setting
goals and connecting where they are now with where they hope to get to in the future. Through weekly action steps and cycles of reflection I help young people to develop their own systems of accountability and provide them with the framework to tackle problems and challenges in the future. The idea of my programme of support is not just to support them during their time as a coachee but to set them up with the skills and mindset which will support them throughout their life.
I have a background in education, as a qualified teacher and previous school senior leader. I have a strong understanding of post 16 and post 18 options for young people particularly in the UK. I am also experienced in supporting young people with applications to university, apprenticeships, graduate schemes and jobs.
