About Me

Priyanthi Alahendra is a certified executive coach and founder of PRI Educational Consulting. With over 26 years of experience in four independent schools, she demonstrates strong leadership, commitment to professional growth and development, innovative teaching, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. She served in various leadership roles in top-tier independent schools across the United States. She believes in fostering partnerships and building trust by developing strong relationships. As a South Asian immigrant and person of color, Priyanthi understands the importance of supporting leaders of color, specifically female-identifying leaders of color in all institutions. She knows that when people feel seen, heard, and known, they will thrive in their environment. She strives to approach her work as a coach with an open heart and open mind by embracing multiple viewpoints and listening actively to her clients. Leadership can be lonely and Priyanthi believes in being a critical thought partner to her clients so they can solve their problems and reach their goals. Priyanthi earned her B.A. from Skidmore College, her M.A. in Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, her Executive Coaching Certificate from UC Berkeley, and is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach as well as an ACC ICF Credentialed Coach and is currently coaching executives and leaders as well as consulting with schools. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband and her two energetic pups, and she has two children who have grown into thoughtful young adults.
