About Me

Whether conducted formally or informally I believe coaching has unrecognized potential to create real performance improvement in individuals and organizations. Why lose your employees 'on training' when a better solution exists?
Adopting a 'blended' approach and targeting critical shortcomings or concerns rather than 'attending courses' provides quick tangible benefits. For young or old Micro Learning holds the possibility to develop learning and skills quickly and cost effectively.
I hold a GCC (Factories) S. Africa and am familiar with applicable statutory safety requirements.
Am computer literate. CSP Project, MS Project, Excel, Power-Point, Autocad and FEA etc. Excellent communicating skills. Have been chairman of NGO promoting a coaching/mentoring approach to Early Childhood Development using computerized E-learning including digital libraries. Also promoting English, Maths & Science in communities & schools using coaching and mentoring.
Interested in alternative health and wellness modalities.
Competent in paperless office, Video and specialized training methods.
Competent in Organizational Development, Coaching and Mentoring, including Life Coaching and Counselling.
Although I have used the word 'competent' above I strongly resist the trend that 'competent' should be the target. Rather let's get beyond what can foster a 'mediocre is ok' mentality and strive for excellence. To this end we promote a '5-scale' approach..
1=negligible skill;
2=performing below minimum requirement;
3=performing at minimally competent level;
4=now we're cooking.. We could teach it!;
5=performing at the level of excellence!
Currently am undertaking accredited training for Assessor and Moderator as part of implementing Outcomes Based Training.
