About Me

I have traveled the world and experienced all that life has to offer. I missed out on being young and care free returning home after serving and did not know who I was anymore. So I had to make a decision play it safe, working somewhere I hate, have babies and die? Or give it hell and see what it truly means to be free. Always wanted to go to college so I enrolled and got my degree. In that time I found myself. I realized I had the power to shine and make the world as I wanted it to be. I have loved and lost , danced the night away, excelled becoming my bosses boss at a fortune 500 company, traveled as the lead singer in a band. Then randomly my purpose in life came to me. A woman balling her eyes walks up to me and asks if she for a cigarette I gave her one and asked if she was okay? She lays it all on me, a stranger. She caught her husband in bed with another, and was scheduled for surgery to remove a tumor in her brain in two weeks. I welcomed her to come to a barbecue my friends were having at the park until she could return home to face her husband. Within that time we talked for hours. She told me the doctors gave her a 10% chance to live and she was surely going to be dead in a week. I said well if you could do anything before you go what would it be? She always wanted to see New York City's tall buildings and bright lights. So I said lets go. She says I don't know you and I replied whats the worst that will happen your dying right? Within two days I coached her to stand up to her family and her husband thinking she was nuts leaving with a stranger and taking one time in her life to put her happiness above theirs. First she saw all of DC, partied in Philly, Gambled in Atlantic City. Finally we exited the train station into NYC her eyes lit up and we spent 3 days taking it all in. We returned the tumor had shrank and she lived. Today she is one of my best friends and the reason I found my passion. Those in need of a reason to truly live.
