About Me
I coach professionals in nonprofit, international development, education, global development, and public policy, as well as those in the private sector looking to transition into social impact. Whether you are stuck, pivoting, applying without results, or simply know something needs to change, my role is to help you figure out what that is and build a plan to act on it.
My path into this work was not accidental. At eight years old, I witnessed extreme poverty in Karachi and Nairobi. Those images never left me. They became the foundation for a career spanning the UN, Sesame Workshop, the Aga Khan Development Network, and Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
I hold a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University and a BA in International Relations from Tufts University. I have coached hundreds of students, alumni, and professionals through Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and the Obama Foundation's Voyager Scholars program, and I founded S² Strategy to bring that same depth to private clients.
My approach is structured, homework-driven, and honest. Before each session you complete focused exercises that surface your strengths, clarify your story, and sharpen your direction. We come in prepared, work through it together, and you leave with concrete next steps and a clearer sense of the career path that fits you.
My clients come to me at different stages. Some know exactly what they want but cannot articulate it. Others feel completely lost. In both cases, the work is the same: slow down, get honest about your strengths and your story, and build a strategy grounded in who you actually are.
I understand the social impact job market from the inside. I know how competitive it is, how much the sector has shifted, and how hard it is to stand out when everyone around you is also mission-driven. That context informs every conversation we have.
