My tagline throughout my 2-decade-long career at Google and still today is to be "demanding and passionate" – demanding first and foremost with myself, and passionate about everything I do. Kindness matters too: hopefully you'll perceive this in my coaching style. Kindness, straightforwardness and being demanding with others are absolutely compatible.

I look forward to listening to you, and helping you, on various topics related to management: becoming a better manager, managing individual contributors vs. managing managers, dealing with poor and high performers, navigating processes (hiring, performance, promotion, termination) and being effective with distributed teams.

If you're not a manager, I can help you with career development, internal mobility (I moved geographically and from sales to engineering), work-life balance, performance and promotion, and organisation & automation skills (e.g. email & time management, use of artificial intelligence).

I was a senior manager at Google for 18 years where I led Developer Relations teams, each headed by their own regional manager across half a dozen geographies spanning most timezones. I also sat on 3 Hiring & Promotion Committees (US, EMEA, APAC), and have conducted 500 interviews.

I previously worked as a strategy consultant, then in business development at Dell. I hold an engineering Master's degree and an MBA, always enjoying to operate at the intersection of technical and business worlds.
