About Me

I am a mom to 4 children. 3 adopted, 1 in process. I believe that adoption makes a difference in the world, and society as a whole. Fostering and Adopting are not without many ups and downs, lonely feelings, scary possibilities and family and relationship tolls.

Having worked through the foster care and adoption process. I've educating myself on the system and processes and learned about self care, and advocacy for self, family and these special children. I have many courses and certificates which help understand trauma, and mental and physical health implications. I continue to research and study in these areas and I will help you understand these things and brainstorm strategies to empower you as a parent.

It can be a lonely road filled with questions, doubts, and fears, both during and even after placement.

I have worked with several professionals for diagnoses, supports, and parenting and family strategies. I have experience with FASD diagnoses, adhd strategies and advocating in school and medical scenarios. I can be a support to you as you find your voice for your child/ren.

It is my goal for you to see your family grow and flourish. I would be honored to be part of your team.
