About Me

I come to Personal Development and Resiliency Coaching with a strong professional background in advocacy, and as a "life certified" Special Needs mom and chronic illness patient. I am interested in using my previous professional experience and hard won life experience to enrich the lives of my clients.

When working with clients I work from a strengths based perspective. I believe each person has their own unique gifts that enable them to meet the challenges of each moment. I encourage humor in our sessions, and will be on your team as a hybrid cheerleader, confidant, and strategist. Often an additional perspective, and a safe place to be seen, heard, and celebrated is one of the things most needed to confront any challenge. It is my honor to show up for clients in that way.

I specialize in working with mothers of children with Special Needs. So often we struggle to find others that understand the uniqueness of our complicated parenting journey. I offer myself as a sounding board, resource manual, and a place to put the complex variety of emotions that accompanies parenting a child with exceptional needs.

Additionally, as a "professional patient" of chronic health issues, I stand ready to help you come up with a coping strategy for managing your complex health needs. As someone who has been managing my own complex health for nearly 20 years, I can offer compassion, resources, and strategies for living your fullest life after a difficult diagnosis.
