About Me

I have worked in business and in education, both at a senior level, for a lot of years. The greatest feeling I have is seeing the joy on a person's face when they achieve something they really want to do. From a child at school who suddenly, after doing all the hard work and struggling to understand, gets it to a sales team that is having doubts over its ability to make the next quota yet, after seeing what they never saw before and smashing that target, helping others to do what they want to do - WELL - is my greatest professional pleasure.
I am utterly convinced that everyone has the potential to succeed brilliantly and I have found that I can help them to find that success. For me it is all about releasing excellence. By giving support and challenge to people it is possible, through the judicious use of 'emotional scaffolding' to take people well outside their comfort zone, safe in the knowledge that they can't hurt themselves and that knowledge allows them to grow their comfort zone out into the stretch zone. What once stretched them is now comfortable so time to stretch again.
What is stopping them from succeeding? They are, or part of them is. By identifying the fears and working through them anything is possible.
I believe strongly in flexibility in approaching a client's issues. It is definitely a matter of entering their reality and then walking in it with them to the place they want to be. It's what I call cre8ive coaching. The reason you're thinking of working with me is because you've tried all the things you can think of. As an outsider (for now) I will see things in a different way and can then offer a chance for you to see things differently.
