About Me

I'm T. Lynn Jones. For 25 years I led teams in Corporate America — and I've sat in the seat you're sitting in. I've built high-performing teams from the ground up and inherited teams that were quietly falling apart. I've led inside a culture that drained people faster than it developed them, and I learned how to protect my people without becoming someone I didn't recognize. I've been the one who did the work and watched someone else get the credit. I've navigated reorganizations where my own role was on the whiteboard and my team was looking at me for answers I genuinely didn't have. And I've hit the wall myself. The kind of burnout where you're still performing on the outside while quietly disappearing on the inside.

Then a season I didn't choose changed the question. When my mom had a stroke, I traded conference rooms for hospital rooms and rehab gyms. I learned what agility actually costs, what patience actually requires, and what it feels like to lead through uncertainty you can't plan your way out of. Corporate gave me skills. Caregiving gave me perspective and a much clearer answer to the question, "what am I actually doing with my life?"

The answer sent me back through 25 years of watching people work. Two people with the same level of talent would get the same assignment, same deadline, and same resources. One would find a way through and come out energized. The other would grind, stall, and start dreading Monday. The difference was never ability.
For years, I couldn't name what it actually was. I just knew some people brought an energy into a room that opened things up, and others brought an energy that shut them down. The same person could do both, depending on the week.

That's what I coach now. Not resumes. Not job-search tactics. The thing nobody ever teaches you: how you show up, what it's costing you, and how to change it.
