About Me
My background in molecular biology and research experience in multiple countries have led me to shift my focus towards exploring interpersonal relationships. I enrolled in a humanistic psychology coaching program in the Hague to pursue this passion professionally. The importance of respecting a client's process while empowering their autonomy is a key aspect of humanistic psychology that appealed to me.
During my coaching studies, I realized that personal growth was invaluable and that my previous research environment did not encourage intuition, which is essential in coaching. To develop my intuition, I pursued further education. This education has allowed me to read subtle energies and provide insights beyond surface-level questions, which has helped accelerate the coaching process.
My sensitivity to different cultures and people comes from my experiences living in various professional and personal settings. This sensitivity has allowed me to understand how to be myself in unfamiliar environments.
In working with my clients, I have found it useful to incorporate tools from various schools of psychology. For example, the transactional analysis school broadened my perspective on interpersonal relationships and inspired my work on boundary setting. Additionally, the hypnotherapy school provided me with the tools to address deeper issues underlying difficulties in enforcing personal boundaries.
