About Me

Hi, I’m Trina L. Martin, and I’m an executive coach who works with high-performing professionals who want to lead with more clarity, confidence, and calm, especially when life and work feel heavy or high-stakes.

My coaching style is shaped by over 30 years of leadership experience across government, intelligence, and technology-focused environments. I’ve spent much of my career in roles where communication had to be clear, decisions had real consequences, and resilience wasn’t optional. That background gives me deep respect for what leaders carry and how often they’re expected to stay strong without space to process, reflect, or reset.

I believe coaching isn’t about fixing people. It’s about creating a safe, focused space to think. My job is to help you slow down enough to hear yourself again, get honest about what’s really going on, and move forward with intention. I’m structured in my approach, but always human. I ask thoughtful questions, challenge patterns that don’t serve you, and support you in taking meaningful action between sessions.

Clients often come to me when they’re navigating a transition, stepping into a bigger role, managing pressure, or simply feeling stuck in their own head. We work on confidence, communication, executive presence, boundaries, decision-making, and leading in ways that are sustainable rather than exhausting.

I’m a retired U.S. Navy Lieutenant Commander and former FBI Intelligence Analyst, and I’m currently working toward my ICF Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential. I’m also the founder of T.L. Martin International, a leadership development and training firm based in Houston, Texas.
