About Me

I love helping people figure out what matters to them, what their purpose is in life and work, and how to get there. I've got many years of experience coaching mid-level managers and leaders, and over that time, I have cultivated a few key thoughts:

1. That you and I are each whole, capable, resourceful and creative - how we tap into that and use it is unique to each of us.
2. That we all have something significantly positive to contribute to our work and the world...sometimes we just need help sorting it out.
3. That women have an obligation to help other women regardless of place, time or level.
4. That every situation and circumstance has multiple perspectives, and it will never do to consider just one.

I have developed internal (peer to peer and leader to manager) coaching programs for organizations, as well as formally and informally coached peers, leaders and executives across various industries. I take a service-based approach to my work, given that I have a degree in hospitality management and work experience in hospitality, food service and healthcare organizations. I think this really helps me connect with clients because I view my work as service to others and my life in the same way. I also incorporate the other parts of my life into my coaching work, because I know how valuable it can be to bring all of your separate "hats" to the table to determine the best one(s) to wear in each situation. So, I'll work with my clients as a coach, but also as a mother, wife, gardener, organic/sustainable food champion, sister, business leader, former executive, HR professional, tennis player, reader, cook, tech "nerd", music fanatic....you get the picture.
