Vision Is Bullet Proof

I wanted to throw a little something out there for all of you who begin to get frustrated because life is not turning out to be what it should be. Whatever your religious background we all cling to the hope of a “better and brighter day”. After many seasons of believing that and nothing happening we often feel our sails deflate! A wise man once said “hope that is constantly put off makes your inner man weak” and I totally agree. Life that is put on hold time after time will ultimately bring you to the brink of insanity. You question everything around you including your God.

So what do we do? How do we handle real failure, real disappointment, real issues that aren’t getting better because we “want them” to?

You dig deep into a place called “purpose”. I call this the power of your personal vision. Your vision is more then a wish list attached to your ‘fridge or something you recite at a church service. No, your vision is literally the blueprint by which you govern every area of your life! You don’t have a vision……you live a vision! What else could keep you getting up after every fall? What else keeps you trusting love after every heart break? What else gives you a glimmer of a brighter Tuesday after a hell-ish Monday?…The reality of a vision working inside you: That voice that defies reason and dares you to stop in your tracks. Michael Jordan has it, Barack Obama has it, George Washington Carver had it and so do you. It’s just been buried under a belief system forced upon you by your environment and schools that convinced you that you were normal, average and common. That’s the biggest lie you were ever told. There is nothing “normal” about you.

When (not if) life shoots darts of despair, anger or failure; know that it is not up to you to defend yourself. There is a force about you called purpose (vision) that has stood the test of time. The on slot of millions has not been able to quench the fire that boils over into raw human passion! Absolutely not! I submit to you today that a man’s vision is greater then teflon. It’s totally and completely…BULLET PROOF.

Remember Sun Tzo said in ‘The Art of War’, “It is foolish to expect a life where the reality of a war never exists. There is no such reality”
