A NOTE FROM ANNE:
I grew up in a remote, countercultural religious environment—homeschooled, sheltered from media and the arts, and lonely as an extroverted child. But nature became my teacher and companion, sparking imagination and resilience.

Raised in obedience, I missed red flags in toxic relationships and cult-like communities. After deep betrayal and existential despair, I questioned everything—my beliefs, my identity, even the divine. That breakdown, though painful, became a turning point. I made radical life pivots, from academia to Hollywood, only to find that true fulfillment lay elsewhere.

With the help of grounded mentors and love-based teachers, I found my way back—awakening step by step from fear to freedom.
