About Me
It’s frustrating when you’re feeling stuck and uncertain of the next best step to take. Whether it’s in your personal relationships, your career, or retirement, I can help you find your own best answers.
My specialty is helping clients define success on their own terms and then working together to create the steps to get there. We’ll assess where you are and I’ll help you tap into your own wisdom to discern what path you want to take.
My coaching philosophy is centered on partnering with clients - meeting you within your comfort zone, where you feel confident and capable and then helping you to stretch. I help you see the possibilities beyond the problem. Instead of “holding you accountable,” I focus on helping you uncover your own reservoir of motivation and leveraging it to achieve your goals.
With over 20 years of experience as a career and parenting coach, I’ve worked with hundreds of individuals, each with their own dreams, challenges, and definitions of success. My passion is asking my clients questions that will reveal their own best paths. From there, I’ll help you establish clear goals and navigate obstacles as you progress.
I believe in collaboration and in giving back. I work with other experts in the field to provide the best resources and recommendations as needed. I’m a lifelong learner, an avid reader, and a passionate writer. I’ve served on both the board and the education committee of Career Directors International alongside Laura DeCarlo, author of Resumes for Dummies. I'm also a member of the National Career Development Association and serve as a guest expert for outlets like Open Source Radio, NPR, the AP, Reuters, FlexJobs, and many others.
