Do you find yourself stuck and not making the progress you want or need to make in your work? Are you wondering when you’ll finally get all those projects finished or achieve those business goals? Do you have a clear idea about what you want to achieve in your role but obstacles keep getting in your way? Or do you need clarity and a stronger reason to take action? Being where you don’t want to be is no fun. What if things were different?
What if you could have more success than you’re having now? How would you feel if you were on a clear path to reach your short and long term goals? If you’re not getting the results you want as quickly as you want with the support you have now, it’s time to make a change.
I inspire achievement-oriented professionals, entrepreneurs and graduate students to go from being stuck to making things happen. I’ve been there and know how difficult it can be to shift. My solution-focused approach works with clients as they are now to identify their what, why and how and to help them be accountable for achieving the results they desire.
My coach training is accredited by the International Coach and Federation and I have specialized training in Conversational Intelligence® that supports individuals and teams to work better with others. I also have over 20 years experience in organization and leadership development from a career and research in the field, and a specific interest in leading culture change in organizations.
Clients frequently comment on the insights or “ahahs” they gain that lead to breakthroughs during coaching sessions I give. Their action on these is critical. I could list examples of what others have achieved through my coaching but their ambitions and results are not what yours could be.
What would you notice about yourself if you were having breakthrough results, and accelerating progress toward your purpose and dreams?
Let’s talk to see whether a match will meet your needs.

To be honest I have very little experience working with a coach, but I feared that it would be more about giving me different opinions of what i should think about and that there was a risk that i would adopt others ideas instead of really figuring out what I want in my life and business. I was intrigued from Brita's first session with me because the entire structure seemed to be about me coming to my own conclusions and recognizing and developing my own answers, simply from how a question was asked or a sequence of questions that led to a new perspective about an old belief or problem. My biggest barrier to starting a coaching program has always been some belief that I should be able to figure things out myself. I always heard many successful people say that everyone needs a mentor, coach or some sort of help. I didn't realize that it was in a line of questioning that my hidden sabotaging beliefs or simply not seeing the entire picture was revealed. I was amazed that half way through the session I would be answering the questions and as I answered each query, the answer to a core issue I was having was just there. And it would come out of my mouth almost as a surprise and it was real. The only way I can explain it is it was like the answer came in through the back door, questions making their way through my subconscious and then recognized consciously as I spoke the words. Very exciting and baffling process but I don't need to know how it works...it just does. I have gained direction in my business and also been able to break down the overwhelm that has lead to delays in the past. I liked the flowing process of following the questions down a path not even knowing where they were leading until the answer showed up. One of the benefits of this coaching is my new sense of trust within myself because the answers ultimately have come from me. I trust that I can trust my intuition and know that my thoughts are valid. This coaching technique can apply to any issues, problems etc as it is really about finding your own solutions with the help of Brita's questioning technique. She is a catalyst and I am grateful to have her as my coach.
