About Me
If you're six to twelve months into a bigger role, or you've been named as the successor for one, some of this may sound familiar. Your decision load has gone up and the clarity hasn't. You're still doing work that belongs to someone else. Letting go feels riskier than staying in it. Your intent and your impact have drifted apart, and no one has told you by how much. Most of my clients describe working harder than ever and feeling less certain it's landing.
That gap, between where a leader is and what the next chapter actually requires, is the work I do. I studied this formally, with an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Hofstra, then practically, over twenty years inside CA Technologies, Nestlé Waters, & DOMA, and as a coach. What I keep seeing is that the skills that earn a promotion are rarely the skills that make someone exceptional at the level they just reached. And support to close the gap is minimal.
My process is structured. We start with diagnostic clarity, usually the Leadership Circle Profile, so we're working from data rather than impression. From there we set specific goals and real measures of success, and we track progress through stakeholder input throughout, not just at the end. Sessions are virtual, 1:1, every two weeks.
What to expect from me: I won't tell you everything is great. I'll tell you what I'm seeing, including the uncomfortable parts, and I'll challenge your thinking when your version of a situation is too tidy. My clients say that directness, paired with genuine investment in how this turns out for them, is what makes the work move.
What's on the other side is a different steady state. You know how you're actually perceived. You're trusted on evidence rather than hope. Your attention goes to the decisions only you can make.
I'm an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and a CPC through iPEC, certified in the Leadership Circle Profile, Hogan, ELI, MBTI, HBDI, and Total SDI 2.0.
If any of this lands, let's talk.
