About Me

My name is Cristine H. Tirol, and you may call me Coach Cris.

My journey into coaching grew from my own path of self-discovery, healing, and learning to love myself more deeply. That journey shaped not only who I am, but also how I coach. It showed me that beneath life’s pressures, expectations, and challenges, each of us has an inner capacity for healing, joy, freedom, love, and purpose.

As a certified Health and Life Coach, I support couples who want to heal their relationship, reconnect, communicate better, and rediscover the love and tenderness they may have lost along the way. I help them understand the patterns keeping them apart and create a more peaceful, joyful, loving, and fulfilling life together.

I believe that meaningful transformation begins when we come home to who we truly are—and when partners learn to meet each other with greater honesty, understanding, and compassion.

Over the past three decades, I have worn many hats across diverse fields, including banker, academic researcher, pastry chef in leading restaurants in Washington, D.C., government and political researcher, project manager, environmental researcher, and political consultant.

This diverse background has given me a deep appreciation for the many paths people take in life—and for the quiet struggles that couples may carry beneath the pressures of work, family, responsibilities, and everyday life.

I am certified in Health and Life Coaching through the Health Coach Institute in the United States. My academic background includes a Master’s degree in Environmental Management and Sustainability from Harvard University, an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, and a BS in Business Economics, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines. I hold a Diploma in Pastry Arts from L’Academie de Cuisine.

I live on Panglao Island in Bohol, Philippines, with my husband, our seven dogs, two cats, an iguana, and countless birds and fish. I am a proud mother of two married daughters.
