About Me
Hey there! I'm Dan - certified life coach, podcaster, photographer, and extreme empath. I'm married to my supportive, bookish wife, and a father to three young kiddos: our 7-year-old daughter and 4-year-old boy/girl twins. We're planted in a small suburb of Philadelphia, PA.
I've been a full-time photographer since 2005. I started my photography business in 2010. In the years since, I also ran a photo booth company, an associate wedding photography studio, and a headshot and real estate photography brand. I co-hosted the Put A Ring on It Podcast which has over 500K downloads! Today, I host the Focused Photographers Podcast, and I'm happiest helping others grow their business without sacrificing themselves, their relationships or their physical and mental health.
My superpower is being an extreme empath. It allows me to create a space free of judgment, where you can be yourself to explore the wilderness between your strengths and weaknesses.
Here's a secret I've discovered about coaching. Chances are you already have the information in you to get from where you're at to where you want to go. For some reason though, you've pushed it down, hid it, and didn't believe it. My favorite part of being a life coach is creating the space for my clients to uncover the beliefs they've buried for years, and take on their future with fresh eyes.

I started my photography business in 2017 and by 2020, my schedule was pretty full and I was working like crazy, but didn't really have the bank account to prove my hard work. I was exhausted and starting to lose steam and that's when I realized I had no idea what I was doing on the business end, so I reached out for help. Daniel saw my cry for help and came to my rescue. I was hesitant on hiring a coach, but after talking to Daniel back and forth for a few days I knew I needed to work with him. He even sneakily interviewed me 1st to make sure we were a good fit, instead of just taking anyone on. Daniel met with me over zoom once a week for 6 months. He went step by step on changes I needed to make to get to the goals I wanted. Daniel was fun, entertaining, sweet, patient and so informative on all topics. Each week I looked forward to our meetings and what challenges he was going to give me. Some of the challenges/changes seemed impossible, but Daniel had full faith in me and he was right each time. When I felt nervous or hesitant on something, he was a call/text away encouraging me to keep going. In 2020 I was shooting 1hr sessions, giving almost everything away for an average of about $150. After 4 weeks of working with Daniel, I had a sale of $3,000!!! I was blown away that it was even possible. Today I average 1hr sessions with a limited amount of photos for $750. The best part of this, is I got my life back! I have a lot more time to send with my family, more time to get to know my clients better, while still being able to pay the bills. When I say Daniel Moyer is worth every dollar and more, I mean it. I'm so thankful for our connection.
