About Me

I was born and raised in a small rural community in Minnesota, the eldest sister of a family of nine. My mother worked nights, my father was an alcoholic/ gambler. This scenario caused non-stability in growing up as we moved often due to banks taking our home then various trailers back. I became mom number two and would pick younger sibling from the daycare and make the family meal and watch over my younger siblings, while my mother worked.
Then I became a workaholic entrepreneur of a Salon/Day Spa, who rose early every day to get a work out before my 9-12 hour work day began. I worked 50-60 hrs a week and was active on weekends. I married what was familiar to me, my first husband was an alcoholic. I built my first house, literally learning and doing carpentry skills while running the salon/spa. I divorced, did a lot of work on myself and formed a spiritual growth group that helped everyone in the group with life decisions and relationships. I continued coaching people behind tha chair as I took care of their hair and skin working long hrs. 6 days a week. Then slam, I got the sledgehammer treatment from the universe. Knocked flat on my a** for months with multiple injuries including brain and lungs.
I took the opportunity to re-evaluate my life. Yes, I said opportunity, the accident was a blessing in disguise that changed my life forever for the better. While convalescing I studied coaching with iPEC and did research on brain injuries. I closed the salon/spa business and became a certified life coach with iPEC. Through doing the work discovered in my research I got my body and my brain back to highly functioning. Now I spend two days a week hiking and biking with a group in the beautiful Rocky Mountains where I live. I purchased a condo in the Caribbean and spend part of my winter there. I have my fun back in life and I help people find their life in balance and discover joy. I help people in transition to find balance in life, a fun/fulfilled life.
