About Me

Jacqui Nissen has over 25-years professional experience as a leader, trainer, and project manager in the Information Technology (IT) field. She served in the United States Air Force and has spent the majority of her career in the public sector. In 2018, she implemented Strength-Based Leadership principles and in 2019 was recognized as one of the Top 10 Most Engaged Teams in IT, in an organization of almost 8,000 IT employees. Jacqui joined a Manager's Instructor Cadre and currently teaches several leadership development courses to aspiring leaders and senior executives.

Jacqui's calling is to infect people to live their personal and professional best life by maximizing the unique gifts and strengths. She's using her own strengths and aligning them with her passion and purpose - to help make others THRIVE! She turns IT professionals into superstars. She coaches professionals, leaders, and business owners to achieve their goals. She is trained as a Transformational Coach, Mentor, Facilitation Tutor, and Certified Personal and Executive Coach (CPEC) through the Coaching and Positive Psychology (CaPP) Institute. She is currently working towards an International Coaching Federation (ICF) Associate Coach Credential (ACC).

In 2022, Jacqui started her own part-time small business, The You Advantage, LLC, where she partners with IT leaders through coaching, consulting, and training to help them get clarity and confidence to move forward and create success. She's successfully helped clients work towards IT certifications and career advancement, leading effective teams and leadership development, and defining vision and strategic plans for businesses. Jacqui's caring and warm approach invites clients to feel at ease and uncover what has been holding them back. Her natural positivity and encouraging personality inspires clients to persevere.
