About Me
Hello! Here's a little bit about me and my background.
My full-time role these days is in software and technology development, where I have more than a decade of industry experience. Alongside that I coach individuals and groups, specializing in the intersection of engineering and career development.
The clients who I work with best are at a meaningful inflection point in their lives. They want to envision a path forward that is achievable and balances personal and professional goals. Without someone to facilitate that process of discovery, it can be slow and arduous. I use my backgrounds in tech, organizational psychology, and coaching to help my clients gain clarity about their path forward and stay motivated to see it through.
Please send me a message if you have questions about working with me or about coaching in general.
Be well!

I came across Noomii after looking at some career advice posts on Reddit. Though I have a Commerce Degree (Accounting and Finance), I pursued various jobs in my life - accounts, admin, sales, customer service and building houses/renovations. I was unsure where to go next and what would truly make me happy so I considered getting a careers coach on Noomii. I filled in the form and they soon put me in touch with Johannes Traa. He was empathetic and listened well to what I had to say. He thoughtfully asked questions and provided suggestions and recommendations as to what I should think about and what steps I should take next. Besides our sessions, he also emailed me resources and tests which were very helpful in helping me to see my skills, experience and personality and which jobs would best satisfy me and ones which I'd do well in. He then discussed my results and research in the following sessions and provided encouragement, advice and further resources to help me. I'd definitely recommend him to get a better insight for those who aren't sure about what sort of career would suit them.
