About Me

Over the years, all my jobs have either been teaching, coaching, or assisting others in some way. I've coached wheelchair basketball, girls volleyball, and rock climbing. I've taught Special Ed, college courses, and primitive skills.

One of the most transformative experiences of my life was teaching at-risk youth primitive skills as well as healthy communication and coping mechanisms. In the process of helping others through struggles, while working in a difficult environment, countless aspects of me grew by leaps and bounds. During that job, I also survived being struck by lightning. It drastically changed the course of my life. Lots of pain and rehab followed, but I’m grateful for what that experience taught me.

Shortly after that, I had the idea for a sci-fi novel series and began writing. It took me a number of years, but I published it and immediately began writing the sequel. The entire writing and publishing process is something I never thought I would do. Taking an idea and making it come to life is one of my favorite things in this world.

My communication and approach to relationships was a weakness due to my upbringing and it took a toll on my marriage. My wife and I were separated for a year and during that time I took stock of myself and what I wanted out of life. Undergoing a personal transformation was vital for my future. It allowed me the ability to communicate my emotions in a healthy way and show love to the people I care about in ways they appreciate. We mended our relationship and are now better than ever.

My life now is a balance of taking care of our household and kids, pursuing my goals, and guiding others through virtual coaching. I love what I do and I'm so grateful that I'm able to help others achieve their dreams.
My process for change and growth differs for each individual client, but mostly centers on shifting mindset, discovering purpose, and achieving goals.
