About Me

My name is Melissa Knight Taylor and I have deep faith in our collective capacity to transform our suffering into a source of healing and connection. The world is calling us to grow and be together in new ways, especially those of us in impactful roles.

My passion and my practice is supporting people to remove the obstacles that get in the way of our natural movement toward health, connection, and aliveness. Using the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), we will explore the patterns and strategies we developed to navigate our young lives. These patterns and strategies were once adaptive, but as adults (with bigger dreams than just surviving), they become maladaptive.

The conditions that give rise to these patterns are also know as developmental trauma, complex trauma, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), attachment wounding or dysfunctional family dynamics. I take the broadest view of the word trauma to include many of the dynamics we have taken to be "normal".

This is coaching at the very deepest level for a transformation of how we relate to ourselves, each other and the the world.

When these shifts begin to take hold, you may find yourself amazed at how small you’ve made your life in order to feel safe. You might find yourself unwilling to judge and pressure yourself so harshly. You may find yourself being less reactive in relationships. You will likely begin to feel a greater sense of ease, fluidity and aliveness. Let's get started.
