About Me

I coach middle school, high school, and college students and their families to help them navigate the education system and close the learning gap. Students and families who are looking for a better balance between school, work, and life can find help with me working on time/stress management and study skills. I can help you get organized, lift some of your burden about school/work, and help you focus. I have over twenty years experience working with high school students. I have taught high school English for 16 years and have been the AP (Advanced Placement) Coordinator for 5 years. My experience working with students of all abilities gives me an advantage. I am also a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in English and have an MA in Education with an emphasis on Secondary Reading. I enjoy working with students and their families, helping them to set goals, plan, and succeed. Working with me will help you reach those goals, feel successful, and ease your stress.
