    About Me

In our work together, I will:

. Help you process any traumatic event that you feel is holding you back in life.

. Be a partner in helping you achieve your goals and move forward.

. Incorporate a DBD (Day By Day) approach. We won't get overwhelmed with things that are out of our of control in the future.

. Set up short term and long-term goals.

. Be a motivational mentor who will inspire you to go after what you want.

. Share my experiences, how I managed them and moved forward.

Moving forward after a traumatic experience in life can be extremely hard. I know from experience. Everyone processes events in life differently. You can want to move forward so bad, but life can be so overwhelming. In fact, you may not even be ready to move forward yet. For me I had to process what happened first then accept what happened. Together we will work on just that for you.

Accepting it does not mean you are happy about what happened or that it is ok. But grieving and then accepting are the first steps in moving forward after a traumatic experience in life.

As you process and we work on accepting we will set up short-term and long-term goals. Short-term goals - What are your goals to accomplish for the next week until we talk again. Then check in on how you are doing with your goals. Long-term goals - What you want to ultimately accomplish in life. Stay on track with moving forward day by day to accomplish those short-term and long-term goals. Identity the roadblocks that are in your way and utilize the tools that help you achieve your goals.

Work together in processing your feelings. Help you work through any new situations that come up in life. Life is so unpredictable. Some things are just out of our control BUT how we react determines what happens next in life. Also, we will work on dealing with and being in control of your emotions when situations arise. Through all this we will help you live a more happy, successful, fulfilling life!
