About Me
I came to coaching via 20 years of teaching, including mentoring student teachers. I completed my Masters in Education with management and leadership which included a module on coaching, which is what lit my fire. After completing my training with Barefoot Coaching, I followed up with a Post Graduate Certificate in Business and Personal Coaching and during this time I have been volunteer coaching people facing life changing diagnoses of chronic illness as well as people who were struggling to find their place.
I
truly believe that understanding our limiting beliefs is key to moving forward in life. Where did they come from? What impact do they have? Are they true? Often we are not aware that limiting beliefs are holding us back because they have been part of who we are for so long. Working together we can unpick what is really stopping you from achieving your goals in any area of life, whether it is going for the next promotion, living with a chronic illness (I am Type 1 Diabetic) or finding joy in your life.
Having worked with several people who have found themselves stuck in a rut I began to see a pattern. We are held in place by many things; finance; societal expectations and limiting beliefs but how many of those things are actually true. I believe that the mind that holds the problem, holds the solution. We just can't always find it on our own. This is where I come in. I provide opportunities to explore what is really important to you, what your passion is and where you can find it.

Wendy is an intelligent, insightful coach with a wealth of not only professional but life experience. She is careful not to give her opinion but skilfully observes her clients and enables them to work through to their own solutions.
